As part of a collaborative ethnographic research, I have given a DSLR camera to my collaborator Sidi Farooq Umar to capture Sidi rituals and performances from his perspective. Sidi Farooq Umar is a choreographer and dancer who performers the Sidi goma ritual drumming and dancing repertoire for religious occasions and also for cultural festivals.
